Haiti Air Ambulance seeks experienced, motivated and dedicated North American program director to join our elite team in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. HAA is the first and only HEMS program in Haiti, making history every day through life saving work, training and outreach while upholding the highest safety and clinical standards. HAA vendors with Air Methods Corporation, following all FAA guidelines under their Part 135 Certificate to fly in 2 Bell 407 aircraft piloted by AMC pilots and maintained by AMC Mechanics. The schedule is a consistent rotation of 4 weeks in Haiti/4 weeks off, with airfare provided by Haiti Air Ambulance to/from your home location as well as housing, food and transport within Haiti. Previous flight experience mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a rotor-wing air medical flight position, as well as 3 years of management related experience.
- Current RN or Paramedic license in state of practice, NRP preferred for Paramedics.
- FP-C or CFRN required.
- Current certifications in BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS.
- Current Passport
- Weight of less than 240lbs, and physically fit to perform duties of a Flight Nurse or Paramedic.
